Guilford County Employees are urged to participate in the Disaster Assistance Employee (DAE) program to help the community respond and recover from disasters.  Please review the information here!
Mitigation Programs

Mitigation is defined as pre-event planning and other actions, which lessen the effects of potential disasters.  We will never be able to stop natural hazards from occurring, but through planning efforts we can lessen the impact of those hazards on our communities.

 

Guilford County has adopted an All Hazards Mitigation Plan which can be reviewed in the document library or by contacting the Guilford County Emergency Management Division at 336-641-2278.
