Guilford County Fire Training

Guilford County Fire Training is comprised of twenty-two fire districts represented by the Guilford County Fire and Rescue Training Committee.  The Training Committee and the Fire Departments are supported by the Emergency Services Fire Training Section and Guilford Technical Community College.  Each component of this training team is responsible for identifying, developing and ultimately delivering the latest training to the Fire Service Personnel.  All training is focused on the safety and wellness of our Firefighters.

Emergency Services Fire Training Section

The Emergency Services Fire Training Section is comprised of a Battalion Chief, Fire Captain, and four Part-time Firefighters.  The training section supports the Guilford County Training Team and Guilford County Emergency Services with the development, scheduling, and management of training classes and programs.  Members of the Fire Training Section work closely with Emergency Services Personnel and Guilford Technical Community College assisting with specialized fire and rescue training, the coordination of NC Fire and Rescue Certification classes, and Special Operations Classes.
